The Annexe is built on the the back of our beautiful Victorian villa, and overlooks the back garden. Guests can use the outside dining area on the patio, or enjoy the swing seat in the evening sun when the weather is good. It's compact in places, but has everything you need, and if there's anything you are missing or need, just let Helen or Neil know and they'll be happy to help if they can! A cream tea, or cake awaits you on arrival, and home-made bread is available on request. Please be aware that the Wi-Fi is very much on Devon time, by which I mean it can be slow and intermittent. It's part and parcel of where we live, and we can only apologise in advance if it's not as good as you're used to. Please contact us in advance if you want to bring your dog on holiday with you. We are happy to welcome well-behaved pets, with prior notice and for a small additional charge per dog.
Welcome to the Annexe at Clarendon. We are looking forward to welcoming you and hope you have a lovely stay here in Bovey Tracey, at "the gateway to the moors". We've been running the Annexe as a holiday-let only this year, and have adapted it to work during the pandemic so that guests can feel safe and socially-distanced from those of us in the main house. We hope you'll love it here as much as we do! We have a teenage daughter at home, and three grown-up children who live away but visit with grand-children, and we have two dogs, so you will very much be staying in a separate part of our family home. We will do our best to give you peace and privacy whilst you stay, but you may bump into us in the beautiful garden, which of course you are more than welcome to use.
