The Ferry Inn at Scrabster, poslední hotel na dálnici A9, je nově zrekonstruovaný a má nádherný výhled na moře. Severně od Thursa je přístav Scrabster bránou na Orknejské ostrovy. Proslulá restaurace The Upperdeck má fantastický steakhouse a specializuje se také na místní mořské plody. Popeye’s je veřejný bar s širokoúhlou TV, na které můžete sledovat sportovní přenosy. Pokoje mají vlastní koupelnu, příslušenství pro přípravu čaje a kávy a TV s plochou obrazovkou a programy Freeview.
