The Forge offers two purpose built comfortable and relaxing ensuite bedrooms, with luxury toiletries and enormous beds set in the peaceful countryside, but only a few minutes drive from all local amenities and a lovely selection of restaurants.
We offer a great base for exploring the countryside, Perthshire and Central Scotland. Our sun room offers a lovely light room to enjoy breakfast, but has a log burning stove to keep you warm on those occasional Scottish rainy days.....
I am a retired nurse and enjoy having guests to stay, one of my favourite past times is cooking so you can look forward to a home cooked breakfast, always made with local ingredients where at all possible.
We are only a few minutes drive to Auchterarder where you an find a small supermarket, newsagent, wine shop and a range of restaurants. We are also only a few minutes drive from the world famous Gleneagles Hotel where there is a selection of sporting activities on offer as well as a spa and a range of options for eating out, but we would always recommend booking here. Where possible we are happy to provide transport for guests to nearby restaurants.
Crieff is a popular tourist town only a 10 minute drive by car, here there are more supermarkets, shops, restaurants and hotels including the popular Crieff Hydro Hotel. Again, we are happy to provide transport here where possible.
