Property information

Stay in this Luxe gorgeous former Victorian school in Lymington. The Old School has been highly renovated and split into two semi-detached houses, so guests can book one part of the house or all of it to sleep up to 14. This is perfect for groups, and larger families who want to be together but also would appreciate two large living rooms two kitchens, etc! Book a chef, hot tub, in house spa treatment too! (additional costs apply!) The cottages are two semi detached cottages side by side, so there are two lounges/ two kitchens/two dining spaces and four bathrooms, and two downstairs W/C's! All at an affordable price! They can be adjoined by a few steps from the bi-fold doors into the Garden if one to the other, perfect for multi-generational breaks. Safe for children as they are not accessed from the road. The Garden has outdoor dining furniture and BBQ. HOT TUB AND IN HOUSE CHEF/SPA IS AN ADDITIONAL COST. Cottage 1 Downstairs-Entrance leads into the large living area to seat up to 14 on large sofa, perfect for movie night. Fire place. Dining table seating up to 10. Sofa bed sleeping 1. Glass balustrade leading upstairs. Bedroom 1 -1 king bed sleeping up to 2 with ensuite. Bedroom 2 , 1 king bed and one double sleeping up to 4. Cottage 1 can sleep Up to 7. If everyone wants own bed then 4 persons including sofa bed in lounge. The garden area has a bbq and seating for up to 10. Cottage 2 Downstairs- Gorgeous navy kitchen with gold accents, open plan kitchen living space and dining table to seat up to 10 Double Sofa bed in lounge sleeping 1. Glass staircase balustrade, desk space/work space. Bedroom 1 Double bed and single bed sleeping up to 3 Bedroom 2 - Double bed x2 sleeps up to 4 with ensuite. Total for cottage 1 = up to 8 or if everyone is wanting own bed 5 including sofa bed in lounge. The garden area has a bbq and seating area for up to 4/ patio for hot tub hires. Parking for 4/5 cars.

Neighbourhood information

Lymington is such a great place to visit. Such a beautiful town and part of The New Forest, but also coastal and it is one of the most picturesque parts of Hampshire. Enjoy the spectacular architecture and the three marinas that elegantly illustrate the story of Lymington’s maritime history. Wander through, soaking up the sights and sounds that make it a typical touristy spot. Much loved by the locals and proudly cared for. The gardens are perfectly maintained, the shop fronts are beautifully inviting and the eateries are all top-notch. One of the best things to do in Lymington is to visit the market dating back to 1250 held each Saturday. With over 100 stalls, you’ll always find something of interest. Pop into the array of chic boutiques, and watch the yachts peacefully bobbing in the harbour on a blue-skied day. Enjoy the brilliant cafes and restaurants. Enjoy the water sports, lymington sea baths for their healing properties and fun inflatables and enjoy pottering through the nature reserve, walking along the sea wall with views of the Isle of Wight! With ice cream in hand from the New Forest ice cream parlour!
