About this property
Real Ales, fine wines, superb food and a warm welcome await from your hosts, Sarah and Lisa. The interior retains an old world charm, with log fires, stone walls and oak beams. The Red Lion is a Grade 2 listed stone-built coaching inn dating from 1748, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and well situated for Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and The Cotswolds. As you step into The Red Lion you will be charmed by the original character and the relaxed atmosphere. There is a pretty garden and en suite bedrooms. The Red Lion offers a creative seasonal menu, which changes regularly and has an AA Red Rosette. Much more than pub food, it has a creative brasserie style and serves locally sourced, fresh food. The Red Lion features in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2010 and the Michelin 'Eating out in Pubs’ guide 2010.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.3 for a two-person trip.
