We look forward to welcoming our guests one and all. Every day in Torquay is a holiday and we just want our guests to really make the most of their time here on the English Riviera. We love to chat about activities and will glady provide suggestions about things to do and where to go.

Property information

From the outside Westbrook Guesthouse looks like any other guesthouse built in 1863. Inside you will find that it’s another story altogether. Extensively refurbished by the previous owners you will find a light and pleasant interior enhanced with modern touches and some beautiful original artwork. The Owners live on site and are warm and friendly souls who will do their very best to make you feel at home. After your delicious breakfast you can take a short stroll to the beachfront where you can just lie on the beach or swim in the sea or alternatively continue walking into the city centre. The Marina with its fabulous yachts and piers provides an ideal setting for the many restaurants that Torquay has to offer. If you prefer something more adventurous this is where the highspeed rubber duck departs from as well as the more sedate ferries to Brixham, Paignton or Dartmouth. If sports are what you are after Torquay has it all. Watersports, bowls, golf, tennis and anything else you can imagine. If swimming in the sea is not for you the Riviera Conference Centre and Swimming Pool are minutes aways on foot from The Westbrook. If none of those things entices you then an eight-minute drive by car or an easy bus trip gets you to the quaint thatched village of Cockington. There you will find arts and crafts, delicious Devonshire cream teas or scrumptious lunches. Many of our guests arrive by car but just park it for the time they are here and use the excellent public transport. We’re looking forward to hosting you and making your stay the most memorable and enjoyable you’ve ever had!

Neighbourhood information

We are just a short stroll away from pubs serving good food with entertainment. There are local shops, newsagents and on Belgrave Road just around the corner are salons & cakes shops. On Lucius Street just at the back of the property etc good public transport is close at hand. We are in a great position to get around Torquay.
