5 minute walk to sandy beach, restaurants, bars and shops in the centre of Sandown. Modern rooms in purpose built annex with communal area for eating inside or outside on the patio. All rooms are double rooms. The rooms are on the ground floor but there are around 5 steps to enter the property. There is a handrail for those less mobile but there is no wheelchair access. There is no parking onsite but plenty of free on street parking within a 5 minute walk. We are also located 10 minutes from the train station and next to the bus stop.
I am Tony and I live in the main house in front of the annexe with my wife and family. I have lived on the Isle of Wight for most of my life and love everything it has to offer. You will not be disappointed with visiting Sandown and the Island at any time of year. I will be on hand if you need anything but otherwise we operate a self-check in system where I will send you details of how to check in an access the rooms a couple of days before you are due to arrive.
We love living in Sandown it is a great place all year round but particularly in the Spring and Summer. You are just a short walk from some great places to eat and drink. Our favourites are: Premier Inn – Cookhouse for breakfast – all you can eat buffet for just ten pound per person. Cellar Bar is a hidden gem along the high street a small entrance way leads down to a lovely bar which is open Thursday – Sunday from 6pm. Boojam and Snark along the high street is a small craft beer bar where two lady brewers create craft beer. There is a Sainsburys Express and Co-op in the high street just a 5-10 minute walk. There is a Premier store which is about a 2-minute walk along the Broadway (turn right when you head out of the drive). Alternatively, a 5-minute drive away is Aldi and Morrisons at the Lake/Merrie Gardens roundabout.
