The cottage is a relaxing quiet space down the drive to the front with decking and a small enclosed garden overlooking beautiful countryside with views from the bedroom of sunrise and lovely sunsets which are also looked on from the evening from the balcony possibly with a glass of wine!
We are a retired couple in our 70's with a keen interest in horses and at the moment have two retired ponies in our care
We are close into the village although you would not know it as it is very normally very quiet. The local pub The New Inn is a very short walk away and produces delicious food. (Not on a Monday!) There is a convenience shop in the village and the main supermarkets are only a couple of miles away. Hastings and the beach approx 5 miles, Battle town approx 5 miles and the beautiful Rye 9 miles with Camber Sands a few miles further on from Rye. There are plenty of National Trust homes within aprox 1/2 hours drive and Bedgebury Forest is 1/2 hours drive away for keen cyclists. The 1066 walk runs through the village and Brede Woods a couple of miles and Battle Woods 4 miles away also with great walking
