About this property

Racoon Lodge in Pointe-à-Pitre provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view, an open-air bath and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. I am an Artist and oil painter, i sing a bit too , and love décorating., and my Galerie is next to the residence and can be visited during your stay I love meeting people, from all over to exchange cultures and ideas, My friend is a real "cave man", he loves nature and the simple life, and is always ready to répare anything that is causing problèmes,my son is at university, but happy to serve and meet new people when he is available.He makes very good crèpes on proposal for your breakfast, having worked in a creperie in Bretagne. We are a good "team" and wish to make your stay as agréable as possible.

Property information

We are situated in the middle and heart of the island, with the marina and restaurants and night life at 500m,and the touristique center and hotels at 5 minutes drive. Pratical for discovering the whole island because central, and great for going out in the evening, because there's not much going on the rest of the island in the evening. Next to the town and in the middle of a forest with its natural wild life which normally are only seen in the middle of Basse-terre. A conviviale atmosphere, sunset on the mountains of basse-terre, with the aperitif in our swimming pool, a breakfast to suit each person, continental, English, or pancakes freshly made by my son who has worked in a "créperie" in Bretagne.

Neighbourhood information

We are in a forest, but next to the central road that crosses the whole island; We are in the middle of the island which is in the shape of a butterfly, which is very practical for visiting and also for people coming to work, because the industrial center is only ten minutes away and the touristique centre just next door. The high life of the island is centered at the marina , only 800 meters away , with it's restaurants and night clubs, and live music. The Aquarium is very close. There are supermarkets at 500 m and beaches at 5 minutes drive. The aeroport is only a ten minute drive away; and the hospital only a few minutes away if you drink too much local rum !!
