Property information

The Dream HouseAmorgos offers a 35 m2 accommodation with a private garden in the centre of Chora. Chora Village Amorgos is the medieval capital of Amorgos. It is an amazing village hidden behind the mountains dominated by a 13th century Venetian castle , Kastro. The house is a 13th century renovated property. This venue is located in the very heart of Chora and a few steps from the Venetian castle (5 minutes) the world famous Monastery (Chozoviotissa) and the rocky beach Agia Anna (20m on foot)

Neighbourhood information

Although the house is in the centre of Chora, it’s very quite and peaceful. Chora features a 13th-century Venetian castle and the historic rock built into it for more than fifteen centuries, the church of Kera Leousa. The views are breathtaking and worth visiting during sunset. You will find traditional squares with souvenir shops, coffee shops, and taverns. One minute away from the house there is are three free public parking spaces. It’s very safe and easy. You can walk around Chora and you may visit (20 minutes on foot) the world famous beach, Agia Anna, featured in the movie “The Big Blue”. Agia Anna has deep blue and crystal clear waters. You can also visit the old Monastery of Hozoviotissa which is 10 minutes away on foot. The Monastery of Hozoviotissa in Amorgos is the second oldest in Greece built in 1017 and renovated 1088, built by Alexius Comnenus I. It is literally hanging on the cliff side 300 m above the sea.
