A fully renovated apartment building, dating back to the 1960s. The space is sunny, lightly decorated and laid out in a way that provides the visitor with anything they may need. It is equipped with all the necessary appliances for meal preparation. Τhe apartment consists of a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed, a fully equiped bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a large terrace. The sofa can be turned into a bed, in order to comfortably accommodate two people.
I grew up in the city center and I have always loved its liveliness and diversity. I would like to see downtown Athens upgraded and its beauty showcased. I have renovated my family home with love and care, and have turned it into two apartments that can offer a very comfortable stay to any visitor who wants to really get to know the city of Athens.
Overlooking the wonderful, 1882s neoclassical, Byzantine and Christian museum of Loverdos, the apartment is very close to the historic center of the city and the neighborhoods around Acropolis: Kolonaki, Exarchia, Lykavittos are nearby. Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament, the National Archaeological Museum, the downtown market, as well as the Library, the Academy and the University of Athens are all within walking distance. The area is full of cafes, restaurants, theaters, and shops for every taste. Visitors will enjoy beautiful walks in the center of Athens, the market and the historical sites, of a city that is full of life. Vistors can go anywhere in the city center on foot. However the metro is only 5 minutes away, and there are bus and trolley routes for areas farther away.
