Almyrida is a seaside resort, 22km east of the city of Chania with crystalline beaches and seaside taverns as well as a great range of accommodation enjoying the stunning sea view. The verdant hills of Apokoronas meet the blue of the sea on the beach of Almyrida, offering a stunning color blend. The soft sandy beach with trees throughout its length and its picturesque port with the fish taverns and boats compose a dreamy summer scenery. Almyrida is a really strategic place to stay in order to cherish the western part of Crete. Approximatelly half an hour from City of Chania and Rethymno, more or less the same from airport and port and only 55 miutes from the southern part of Crete with the beautiful beaches. Beautiful beaches within Almyrida, with different style each, sandy, rocky, swallow for children. Beautiful villages and nature around with mountain walks, springs and eternal trees. Watersports on the beach and boat excursions offered.
