Hello! My name is Nikos and i am a Computer Engineering student in Greece. I was born and raised in Zakinthos, an island of the Ionian Sea. Every summer I enjoy staying in the little village of Old Alikanas in Zakinthos where our family-run accommodation, named Xenios Avlais, is. The whole family enjoys meeting and communicating with new people in the area from all over the world. The complex is located in the scenic area of Old Alykanas, a coasty village which retained its local character, that offers you a calm & peaceful getaway.A holiday home that blends well with the natural landscape, providing you a number of outstanding features: Every apartment has the benefit of a sea view balcony, that allows every seabreeze to chuck your skin. Property a few steps away from sandy Xechoriatis beach. Facilities include a shared bbq area and wide gardens with plenty of sitting areas to enjoy the seaview. Quiet location, yet only a short stroll from Alikanas center where you can find plenty of local markets and restaurant. Private parking, Wifi, TV and air conditioning. Apartments are cleaned every few days and hosts are on hand and happy to help with any advice you need during your stay. Fully equipped kitchen, if washing facilities are needed, you can ask the hosts at an extra cost. Car, scooter or ATV rentals can be arranged for you if needed.

Alikanas is placed a short drive from Zakynthos Airport and is the ideal setting for a calm escape in the Ionian Islands. Xechoriatis beach is a safe, shallow Blue Flag beach, only a short distance down the beach from our property. Whether you want to travel along the coast visiting hidden beaches and coves, enjoy the fine sea-food and wine of Zakynthos or even if you want to try the local bars aroudn the island, Alikanas is a perfect base to explore the beautiful island of Zakynthos.
