Yacht Pipit is not only an alternative option for accommodation in the city of Kavala. It is more of a unique experience and an introduction to life at sea, suitable even for families with young kids (over 4 yo). Living in a boat certainly means comfort compromises such as tiny space and pump sea toilet, but the experience of waking up in the middle of the port of Kavala will be a lifelong memory. Have the whole city attractions, including two beaches, within walking distance, and next to Kavala Arcade Fun Park, on a car-free urban tourist experience. Stay overnight and enjoy an optional daily or few hours sailing cruise to popular or remote beaches in the Golf of Kavala, for swimming, sup, snorkeling, or spear fishing, at special discount rates. Other options to take the boat to Thassos island or stay anchored overnight under the Milky Way or the full Moon, in your choice of beach in the bay of Kavala, with or without skipper, are available as well.
Ahoy sailors ! This is Niki, 'an over the Rainbow captain', who will be happy to reveal the secrets of the Golf of Kavala and Thassos for swimming, sightseeing, fishing or scuba diving and offer a unique vacation experience by the sea, just in the center of the city.
24-hour parking is available 20 meters from the boat, at a cost of 15 euro per 24 hours. Port of Kavala is full of taverns, coffee shops, and bars and just 5 min walk from the main shopping district. Kavala Arcade Fun Park, a children heaven, is just 100 meters away, while two urban crystal clear water beaches, one to the east and the other to the west, are just 10 min walk from the boat.
