Casita Azul is an island style, rustic casita, located on the property of Blue Island Divers (check us out on Trip Advisor). Surrounded by lush greenery and a gorgeous view of the ocean, you will not be disappointed! Casita Azul offers a queen size bed, apartment sized kitchen and bathroom with shower. You have full use of the property which includes a private dock, a beach with lounge chairs & hammocks, bbq grills, complimentary use of kayaks when available and a common area at the dive shop. A divers paradise, you are steps to the dive shop and boat and if you have non divers in the group they can relax on the beach in lounge chairs, hammocks or enjoy snorkeling from our pier. Also on property is a beach bar and the Salty Mango Bar & Grill. From 6pm until 6:30am we have a night watchman on property as well. We have ample parking available if you rent a car and if not you're steps from being able to grab a taxi cab at the main road and we have specific taxi drivers available for tours when their schedule allows.
We are happy to have you consider staying with us! We love Roatan and everything the island offers. We love sharing our facilities with our guests. I, Eric, am an Advanced Open Water Instructor and am here to answer emails and dive bookings. Carly is a Divemaster and works on our advertising and booking platforms while also leading our mission work. There is a lot to see and do in Roatan, the island has many activities. Scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, lionfish hunting, beach lounging, kayaking, hanging in the hammock or playing darts while sipping a refreshing drink, it is all possible at our location. On site, we have an incredible team assembled at Blue Island Divers to treat all your needs. Other activities include visiting local communities through mission work, touring the mangroves, hugging sloths on the sloth farm, seeing hundreds of iguanas at the iguana farm or dancing with the Garífunas in Punta Gorda. Let us show you the island we love and the best way to take advantage of it! We especially love special events, if it is a milestone of all life; we want to celebrate with you. Come and enjoy.
Blue Island Divers Resort is located in Sandy Bay. Our Sandy Bay neighborhood is located between Coxen Hole and West End. Our area is quiet and secluded and you can walk the beach for approximately a 1/2 mile in each direction and enjoy the tranquil breeze and beautiful mangroves or sand beach. A fitness center is within 5 minutes and we also have a day spa we highly recommend and they offer complimentary pick up and drop off. We are located 10 minutes from Coxen hole and 10 minutes to West End. We are steps from the principal road which traverses the entire island. Blue Island Divers is in the perfect location!
