The holiday home is located in the north-western part of Croatia about 80 kilometers from the capital Zagreb and is easily accessible from the motorway. If you are up and running, there are plenty of options too. You can visit the thermal baths in Varaždinske Toplice and see the archaeological site from the Roman Empire or the medieval Trakošćan Castle with its beautiful lake in the middle of unspoiled nature. Not far from Trakošćan is the Neanderthal site on the hill Hušnjakovo near Krapina and the Neanderthal Museum. The baroque town Varaždin is definitely worth a visit.
