Situated right by the ferry terminal in the Brijuni National Park, Hotel Istra has stylish air-conditioned rooms with LCD satellite TVs and provides free WiFi in the lobby. Guests can also enjoy the unique flora and fauna and the great climate of this untouched landscape. The Veliki Brijun Island offers a tourist train, remains of ancient Roman architecture and a splendid safari park with animals like zebras, zebus and elephants as well as Istrian sheeps, donkeys and goats. The Church of St. Germain hosts a permanent exhibition of copies of frescoes and Glagolitic writings from Istria. Free entrance to Brijuni National Park and museums is provided to guests. Galija Restaurant features a terrace and serves samples of creative Mediterranean cuisine, including a choice of seafood and meat specialities, as well as flambéed desserts.
