I am a writer, a travel planner and an Airbnb Superhost. My passion for travel has taken me to nearly 30 countries since 1992. The trip to Croatia in 2007 has brought me a husband and my first Chinese novel. I have published two Chinese novel sets in Croatia and a collection of Chinese essays. I blog and write for various organizations and online publications, in both English and Chinese. Having appeared in two Hong Kong on-line radio travel programs featuring Croatia, I was also consulted by one Taiwanese and one Hong Kong TV station for shooting travel programs in and around Croatia. My particular connection with Croatia has led me to create Croatia Independent Travellers with two partners. The on-line platform specializes in travel planning and custom-made tours for those who want to create unforgettable travel experiences of their own. In the summer of 2014, I realized my long-term dream of running my own private accommodation in Split. The Chinese guide book on Croatia I co-authored was published in June 2015. Born in Hong Kong, I now reside in Split, Croatia.

Furnished for a cozy stay for 2 persons in the city center of Split, the en-suite room consists of a King sized bed (or a pair of twin beds), a bathroom with shower and a hair dryer, a mini fridge plus a small pantry area, a cozy set of table and chairs for 2 persons, air-conditioning, HD cable TV and wireless internet. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels. All types of transportation are only few minutes' walk away from the apartment: airport bus, local bus, intercity bus, taxi, train and ferry. Guests may find free parking near the apartment or on the street on a "first come first served" basis. Paid parking is 5 minutes' walk away from the apartment. Daily necessities are within reach by a few minutes' walk as well: 24-hour bakery, supermarkets, the Green Market, pharmacies, money exchangers, ATMs, laundry shops, grocery shops, post office, police station and etc.

The apartment is 5-10 minutes away from the historic old town and the most popular beach in Split named Bačvice. So you can explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Diocletian Palace, the Cathedral of St. Dujam and the lively green market, enjoy the special events and performances on the famous seaside promenade of Riva, go for a day trip to the islands like Hvar, Brač or Vis, visit nearby towns of Trogir, Sinj or Omis or indulge in the clear blue sea under the sun. We love the serene neighborhood and nice people around us, not to mention the daily conveniences and great events in center Split for having a good life here. Most people refer to our area as "Radunica" although it is actually the name of the main street here in Lucac suburb of Split. "Radun" means "water spring" in old Illyrian. Settlers from the Republic of Poljica came to the area about 500 years ago.
