The villa is surrounded by rice fields and vegetable orchards in a quiet village in rural eastern Bali at the foot of Mount Agung. During the day, you can often see kingfishers and egrets and farmers going about their business, and at night, fireflies. A perfect getaway for quiet times, for meditation, for writing, and for getting to know the real Bali. Long-term stays are welcome.

I would be delighted to be your host and show you the beauty of the real Bali that usually can’t be found in popular tourist spots.
I live on the farm and am usually in residence. At other times, staff will be available to take care of you. The staff are available until 9 PM (or until dinner.)

Located in a Balinese village, the villa is surrounded by farms. The local traditional market is open every day from 4 to 8 AM but is at its liveliest between 4 and 6. At night, things go quiet after 7 PM. Restaurants with beautiful views are reachable within a 30 minute drive. Outdoor activities include trekking through the rice fields, bathing in a natural spring, and whitewater rafting at Telaga Waja (a 10 minute drive away).
- From Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS), the villa is a 60 km drive towards the northeast.
- Airport pickup and local transportation can be arranged on request at extra cost.
- For long stay (one week or more), we provide free pick up and drop off from/to the airport.
- Within walking distance from local warung and grocery stores.
