Company information

We opened our B&B in June 2017. It was our plan from when we built our house in 2006. We have 6 children and as we were quite busy rearing our family, its only now as they are getting older , that we decided the time was right to open the B&B. We both love to travel and we hope to do alot more of it in the coming years. Our children all love sports and they play Gaelic football, rugby and soccer, so any free time we have is spent on the side lines cheering them on. We would also have a great interest in interior design, so if you visit our home more than once you no doubt will see something different each time you come.

Property information

Our B&B has 4 deluxe en-suite rooms with very comfy beds and super powerful showers. We offer a very good choice CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. The whole house is finished in solid oak wood. We are in a beautiful scenic area on The Wild Atlantic Way, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish countryside. You can enjoy lovely country walks or runs in quiet country roads and adjacent to our property is a lovely bog walk where you will get a taste of real "rural Ireland". You will hear the crickets and the frogs, and don't forget to bring the binoculars ( available at the property) to do some bird watching. We have lots of different birds in the area such as herons, hawks, wild geese, ducks, swans and you might be lucky to catch a glimpse of the owl that visits us from time to time. More beautiful walks and amazing coastal scenery are only minutes drive from the property. Just 5 minutes drive from our home is the seaside resort of Kilkee and the lovely village of Doonbeg. Or just 20 minutes away is The Loop Head Peninsula. The area has many top class award winning restaurants and lively pubs with plenty of local talent where you can be sure of having a great night out.

Neighbourhood information

Our neighbourhood is very quite, so you can be sure of a great nights sleep. but we are only 5 minutes drive from the seaside resort of Kilkee and the lovely village of Doonbeg. Where you will find loads to do such as beautiful cliffs walks, waters sports such as snorkelling, canoeing, diving, fishing, swimming and paddle boats, hiking, cycling. We also have a clay pigeon shooting club that is just 30 minutes drive from us. Kilkee and Doonbeg have many fine restaurants and lots of pubs with Irish music and singing most nights.
