Company information

Fergal, and his partner Jen, have been hosting guests at Inveraray Farm B&B since moving into the property in 2020. Prior to that, Fergal's parents, Eileen and Noel Spillane, built and ran Inveraray Farm for nearly 50 years. Their hard work and dedication made Inveraray Farm the place it is today. Although Eileen and Noel no longer live at the farm (they live next door), they are still very much involved in the business. When you visit you could well meet all three generations of Spillanes. After living in Australia for nearly 2 decades, Fergal and Jen love being back in Beaufort with their own young family and enjoy everything the incredible location has to offer. Fergal is an engineer by trade and enjoys playing golf in his free time. He also coaches (Gaelic) football and soccer. Jen is a graphic designer and copywriter who loves hiking and photography. They love to share their little slice of heaven with people from all over the world.

Our rural setting has stunning views of the surrounding countryside including the Gap of Dunloe and Mcgillycuddy’s Reeks. We're set in a tranquil location that feels a million miles away from any hustle and bustle. However, we are only a 10-minute drive from both Killarney and Killorglin so you're never far from the action. Neighbourhood information

Beaufort is a beautiful parish on the River Laune in the Reeks District of Kerry and is home to many tourist attractions. These include the Gap of Dunloe, Carrauntoohil, Tomies Woods, the Dunloe Ogham stones and the Black Valley. It's a hiker’s paradise! It's also popular for cyclists and those who want to casually explore from the back of a jaunting car. If you’re a golfer Beaufort has its own golf course and there’s a number of other courses within easy driving distance. The village itself is a five-minute walk from the property and has three pubs. The Dunloe Hotel is a fifteen-minute walk (two minute drive). Heather Restaurant, Kate Kearney’s Cottage, and The Coffee Pot are a five-minute drive. They are also walkable (approximately thirty minutes) for those who fancy it. Please check individual websites for seasonal opening times.  The Ring of Kerry, Dingle and the Wild Atlantic Way, North Kerry and West Cork are all easily accessible. This makes Beaufort a great base while you explore Kerry and beyond.
