Nestled within the beautiful countryside with views over looking Sligo's most iconic feature on the Wild Atlantic Way, Ben Bulben mountain Lissadell Lodge is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location. The perfect spot to see the night sky and all its twinkling stars when the clouds don't roll in!! It's the ideal base for hiking Ben Bulben with Luke's Bridge only 5 mins drive away. This is a moderate hike with breath taking views from the top. A short 5 mins drive will bring you to the famous resting place of William Bulter Yeats with the naturally beautiful, steeped in history, Lissadell House and Gardens a mere 2 mins from the B&B. Lissadell Lodge B&B is a country home to Anthony, Linda and their 3 children situated 14 km from Sligo city centre. This B&B has 5 beautiful rooms with 3 of them over looking the mountain. All rooms are ensuite and provide complimentary toiletries. T.V, Wifi and Tea/Coffee making facilities are also available in your room. The dining room provides beautiful mountain views while you have your morning brekkie. Breakfast is freshly made each morning providing a mixture of both hot and cold foods. You wont leave hungry! Surrounded and spoiled for choice in beaches, you'll have no problem locating somewhere all within minutes to wriggle your toes in sand, go shell picking, a quick dip perhaps ! or our favourite - watching the sun go down. Don't let our remote, quiet location put you off your food!! .....we are surrounded with the best restaurants serving tasty meals cooked from local produce, the nearest one only 2mins by car.
