NEWLY Renovated & Fresh to the market is Shannonside! A 5-bed (sleeps 8) River Shannon Marina Townhouse in the Hidden Heartlands of Ireland, right on the Leinster/Connaught border,. Shannonside is tranquillity personified bordering an immaculately maintained Marina Shannonside is just 7km from Longford town & 27km to Roscommon town. Nestling neatly beside picturesque Termonbarry & Clondra Villages at the Royal Canal terminus Richmond Harbour You’ll be staying in a freshly renovated town-house with a balcony off the en-suite Master bedroom and those wonderful Marina views. Sleeps 8 within 1 en-suite queen dbl & 1 dbl and a bathroom on the 1st level and 1 dbl & 2 singles with another bathroom on the 2nd level. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed, en-suite with shower and the French doors onto a balcony overlooking the Marina You’ll have the complete run of the entire house, private garden and patio areas. Additionally, there is a 40’ mooring with water & electricity hookups We’re a 5 minute walk from some of the very best restaurants and pubs and some of the most highly acclaimed walking & bike trails on the Royal Canal Greenway are a 1.5km walk, 10-minute bike-ride or a 3-minute drive away.

The latest MULTI MILLION EURO Center Parcs development at Longford Forest is right on your doorstep and visitors will frequently book a 3 or 4 day break and then stay in Shannonside to complete their holiday, breakaway or annual vacation. The Royal Canal Greenway starts in Richmond Harbour Clondra and the Top-10 walking or cyclingv trails are contained in the Longford region The National Famine museum and trail is just 12mins away at Strokestown Park House & Gardens which are all very popular with our guests Lough Key Forest Park is also high on peoples bucket-list when visiting this area and is highly recommended. In the local village (500m) we have a Centra with Deli, three pubs (two award-winning), takeaway, fine restaurants and pub grub, art gallery, petrol station, hairdressers & mail salon plus a massage parlour. Walking, Cycling are the most popular activities, however the village is served by the Dublin to Westport Bus, if public transport is required to Longford or Strokestown or further afield.
