The Shepherds hut is a cosy retreat for you to unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures that the Galway countryside and Ahascragh has to offer.
Stay in a traditional style Shepherds Hut with raised King Size bed. The hut offers the peace and sounds of Rural Ireland, set in the enclosed area overlooking our fabulous Hens and Ducks. Watch at night as the Ducks secure the parameters of their enclosure, before resting up.
There is a beautiful unique chair to unwind overlooking the fields, a covered BBQ area, with gas BBQ, and Electric 2 ring stove.
I am Married to Stevie, and together we have 2 children and our long time loyal dog Rocco.
We love time in our garden, and looking at the hens and ducks makes us smile.
We love to experience nature, art and all things craft style.
Ahascragh is a little village in the West of Ireland, situated on the border of Roscommon and Galway.
The Village offers many local amenities such a McAillister's Whiskey & Gin Distillery, The new Clon Colla Restaurant ,Glynns Butcher, local DayBreak shop, including a Hot/ cold deli and fuel, The Old Mill Shop and Café for breakfast or lunch,
There are vibrant pubs with live music on select evenings.
