Property information

The Gallery B&B was established in 1992 and features a permanent exhibition of paintings. It is noted for its charming decor and delightful atmosphere. There is also an extensive display of antique porcelain and musical instruments The Gallery is centrally located to restaurants, pubs, historical buildings and a shopping centre . Its a 5 minute walk to the pier ,tourist office and the park which overlooks the sea. There are several free car parking locations which are nearby . There is always classical piano music to be heard in the background along with an extensive array of visually attractive antique porcelain and original paintings to delight the eye.

Neighbourhood information

The Gallery B&B is located in a great central location ,right beside all the pubs, restaurants and a vibrant shopping centre. The sea is a 5 minute walk and all the historical buildings are very close by. The following buildings are well worth visiting . The museum built in 1700 , and St Multose church which dates back to the 12th Century . Further afield there are the two forts, Charles and James fort that were built in the 1600’ s. There are a variety of pubs that specialise in traditional Irish music which are within a 100 metre walk from the Gallery,along with a great selection of gourmet restaurants . It’s a 5 minute walk to the pier where one can avail of historical walking tours of the town and a harbour cruise is also highly recommended which can be found on the pier . Around the corner from the Gallery ,bicycles can be hired on Pearse st and for the more adventurous yachts and motor boats are available for hire also.
