My name is Elaine and I am a native of the city of Derry, but I've just relocated 5hrs south to a gorgeous traditional Irish cottage in Doolin, Co. Clare. My new home. A little about me. I started travelling when I was 18 years old, so I'm very aware of what I like when staying as a guest in a hotel, bed and breakfast, hostel; location and cleanliness feature high on the list. So far I have travelled to Thailand, Iceland, Nepal, Scandinavia, Africa, Tasmania, Hong Kong, China, Australia, many countries in mainland Europe, North America, and all over Ireland and Britain. Photography is my passion but I also love yoga, reading, cycling and hillwalking. I also love my country, the richness of our history, music, culture is unequalled anywhere I've ever been. I look forward to hosting you in my cottage.
Delightful double room ensuite in a traditional Irish cottage with good parking facilities. My cottage is a few minutes drive from the heart of Doolin village, set in quiet and peaceful surroundings yet easily accessible to Doolin's great dining, cafe, and traditional music scene. 15mins from Cliffs of Moher, 30mins by sea to the Aran Islands, 5 mins to The Burren , 90 minutes from Galway, 60 mins from Shannon. Your stay includes a light continental breakfast to kick start your day. It is essential to have a car to get around to the local sites.
