"Evergreen Cottage"- A name befitting its surroundings. An ancestral property nestled in Sawmer, Uppershillong, the house was constructed in the late 1800's but has undergone certain renovations at the turn of the last century.Almost every room has a chimney of its own to offer our guests respite during the cold winter days. With a spacious lawn, our guests would enjoy their morning breakfast, lunch and evening tea while enjoying a breath of fresh air, It is home to a variety of trees, seasonal flowers and our guests would on most days wake up to the beautiful chirping of birds in the morning. For those longing to run away from the 'madding crowd', the house offers comfort, peace and relaxation. To top it all, for the 'early birds', the house also provides a great view of the beautiful Himalayan ranges during the early winter mornings.
