Green Chromide Homestay is a cozy little retreat nestled on Munroe Island in the Kollam district, located in the southern part of Kerala. Independent Riverfront Wooden Cottage (Chalet): A charming riverside wooden cottage that offers a private and serene escape. 2. Independent Riverfront Glamping Pod (One-Bedroom Chalet): A cozy one-bedroom pod with stunning river views. 3. Standard Budget Double Room with Riverview Terrace Balcony: Located on the first floor of the main family home, this room features a terrace balcony overlooking the river. (The family resides on the ground floor.) This particular room is listed as NON- AC, however, can be upgraded to AC on request at a small additional charge. The wooden chalet and glamping pod are situated right by the riverside, offering breathtaking views of the water. All three accommodations are within the same premises, providing guests with a variety of options to suit their preferences. Green chromide homestays welcomes you to be looked after and cared by our family (myself Sunaina and my in-laws. After spending almost 3 decades in a busy city and working with the major corporate sector, I moved to this little heaven far from the busy city life. It’s truly a magical place to live, work and stay in and this is my very personal experience. You will feel as though the time is running slow….. We love meeting new people, talking to them, learning about different cultures around the world and also showcasing the village life and culture.
