Company information

I'm Anita and live with my husband Ellert and four children on the second floor of the house. We find it very nice to meet new people, give them time and information about our beautiful country. Our main interests are sports and music.

Property information

The guesthouse is the perfect place to stay on your first or last night in Iceland. Grindavík wich is the beautiful town in the lava, 15-20 min from the international airport, 5 min. from the famous Blue Lagoon, and 40 min from downtown Reykjavík. Aníta's guesthouse ground floor of our home that we rent out. I am offering four private rooms all with double beds , desk, chair and a window( one with small window). Guests staying with me have access to two bathroom with shower. Guest have access to kitchen (all appliances available) and living room. Other amenities include wireless Internet access. Fresh towels and linen are provided. No Smoking is allowed in the house, but you can smoke on the terrace.

Neighbourhood information

Grindavík is a fishing place in Reykjanes Peninsula. Many beautiful places and hiking roads are all around Grindavík and there are lot of activities for tourist‘s in the summer. In the winter is it a wonderful place to see the Aurora Borealis. It is possible to go by bus from the airport to the blue lagoon and from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavik and the airport. We can pick up from the blue lagoon for a nominal fee but we need to have 24 notice
