Make yourself comfortable in Dimond cottage. Dimond cottage is a holiday home with a terrace, located in Aðaldalur, 10 min away from Húsavík. It is located within 400 m from one of most famous salmon river in Iceland, Láxá í Aðaldal. The property is 50 minutes from Akureyri. Towels and bed linen are offered in this self-catering accommodations. There is no front desk at this property. The cottage has 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, well equipped kitchen and living room, free private parking and free WiFi. The kitchen features an oven, a toaster, dishwasher, coffie machine and kettle. Other facilities at Dimond cottage is an infrared sauna cabin in one of the bedroom. On the terrace is good a barbecue and also a cozy couch and a fireplace. In the garden there is a small dollhouse for the younger ones to play. You can play Frisbi Golf in the public garden near by. No housekeeping service available. The return of the house must be as on arrival.
The property is located in the Dimond Circle where you can see all of the fantastic pearls in a 250 km(155 mi) circuit in North east of Iceland. The Diamond Circle connects the town of Húsavík, lake Mývatn, Ásbyrgi canyon, and the waterfalls Goðafoss and Dettifoss. Along the way, you will also drive along and find Tjörnes Peninsula which offers great views over Skjálfandi bay, the lush valley of Hólmatungur, the geothermal area of Hverir, and the black lava formation at Dimmuborgir. At Húsavík you can also go to fantastic whale watching and puffin tour.
