Located in North Iceland’s main town, Akureyri, this budget summer hotel is a short walk from the city centre and the Eyjafjördur Fjord shore. Free parking is offered on site. Hotel Edda Akureyri’s rooms have either private or shared bathrooms. The lobby has a small café, and guests can sit out on the terrace in nice weather. The communal lounge has 2 pool tables, a stereo and a piano. Next door to the hotel is a geothermally heated outdoor swimming pool with hot tubs. Akureyri’s Botanical Gardens are also found close by, while the pretty Lake Mývatn is a 1-hour drive away. Popular activities in the area include hiking, climbing and whale watching.

Iceland“I booked this accommodation because it was the lowest price I could find in Akureyri. It's very central, and a nice place to stay. It's an old boarding school and has that vibe. I'm pretty happy with my stay.”
