A casa da Agata is located just off Loro Ciuffenna, at 600 meters above sea level, in a scenic position over the Valdarno valley. Situated in a peaceful area of outstanding natural beauty, the house has been completely renovated in 20016 to host six people. Each of the three en suite bedrooms is wide, bright and quiet. The rooms are finished to a very high standard featuring antique furniture and free wi-fi. Large comfy beds with soft sheets and plump pillows will aid a good night’s sleep. The garden and the large patio/terrace with a breathtaking view over the valley are the favourite spots to have an ‘al fresco’ breakfast or to sip an aperitif while admiring the sunset. The breakfast is homemade every morning with fresh and seasonal local products. If you like it, it can be served in the bedroom. there is also the possibility of requesting a dinner or lunch directly in the structure with local and fresh products or we can make a Cooking class and make an amazing Homemade pasta. For those who want to experience the thrill of going to an apiary, they can request it and will be accompanied to discover the magical world of bees and follow a honey tasting. The rhythms are the slow ones of the mountains, the air is fresh and pure, you will be received like an old friend.

Hi, I'm Lorenzo. I was born in Montevarchi and a few months ago I moved to this beautiful country house in Loro Ciuffenna together with my furry friends, Chuck the dog and Gala and Cruccio the two cats. I have known the previous owner for years now and I have seen the time, care and dedication she dedicated to this place, I limited myself to bringing the bees there in the summer months. I like getting my hands dirty and I can't wait to help you discover this little-known corner of paradise in the middle of Tuscany. I have a farm that produces honey, extra virgin olive oil and iris. I love being in contact with nature, trekking a lot with my trusty Chuck and gardening behind the house, so as to always have fresh products at hand. I don't have as much time to travel as far as I would like and I love the idea of ​​a piece of the world coming to visit me in my home! I will welcome you personally upon your arrival and will be at your disposal during your stay for any need. A casa da Agata is perfectly located between the Arno river and Pratomagno, 6 kilometers off Loro Ciuffenna, a cosy medieval village member of The Most Beautiful Italian Villages Club. There literally is something for everyone from strolling along the winding alleys overhanging the clefts of the Ciuffenna river, to visiting places such as Le Balze, unique and evocative geological formations of clay and sand or the Gropina church, masterpiece of the romanesque architecture and a Tuscan hidden gem. In the area public transports are very limited. The use of your own car is strongly recommended. From Loro Ciuffenna you will find frequent bus connections to Arezzo and the nearest railway stations of Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno (from where you can easily reach Florence).
