The historical French travel reporter Guy de Maupassant instead defined it as a "painting in which we find everything that seems to exist on Earth to seduce eyes, spirit and imagination". The B&B Joan's Heritage is located in the heart of the historic center of Taormina, the famous Corso Umberto, full of shops, cafes and restaurants with some beautiful buildings, churches, narrow side streets and a spectacular view of the sea. The famous ancient theater is a 2 minute walk from our hotel. The beach can be reached thanks to the cable car which is only 100 meters from our B&B and connects the bay of Mazzarò Isola Bella with the center of Taormina in just 3 minutes. Due to its strategic position, the B&B Joan's Heritage is an ideal starting point to visit not only Taormina, but also other famous places in eastern Sicily (Castelmola, Giardini Naxos, the Etna Volcano, Syracuse, Catania, Caltagirone) and the beautiful area archaeological Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.

When we talk about Sicily, or rather holidays in Sicily, the name Taormina always comes up. Everyone wants to visit Taormina and in fact it is one of the cities in Sicily that attracts the most tourists every year. Taormina sits harmoniously on the cliffs, from which it looks out to sea, the water's edge below it fading into the white beaches that creep through the gorges of the cliffs, stretching out to touch the small points that emerge in the water.
