Ancient lookout tower in defense of Florence for the attacks of the barbarians from the north. Later demolished in part was used as a farm but has remained the sweeping views over the valley . As did the ancients, we continue to cultivate the land of organically farm offering our guests genuine products in a pristine environment and in the countryside while being close to the city and places of interest in Tuscany . ideal place to relax being in close contact with nature ... without sacrificing the beauty of the art cities in the vicinity.
We like to live in contact with nature , maintain and pass on the traditions of our land and our culture . We love this work and the opportunity that every day gives us letting us know new people .
On the slopes of the area of the natural park of the Calvana mountains , about 300 meters above sea level , our structure can start interesting walking, mountain biking or horseback . The area boasts several ancient villas as well as the castle with medieval village of Calenzano high, expanding the horizon you can easily reach the many Medici Villas as the Villa Petraia , Villa di Poggio a Caiano , Villa di Cafaggiolo or that of Artimino . It then moves from the beautiful villages like Scarperia , Carmignano Fiesole and Settignano the cities of Florence , Siena , Lucca and Arezzo are well connected with the nearby motorway exit to a little more than 10 minutes away.
