There are six spacious suites at Dimora Santa Margherita, with beautiful cotto tiles on the floor and exposed ceiling beams. They are elegantly and distinctively furnished with antique furniture complemented by modern accessories and soft furnishings, all chosen with the greatest care. Accessible through their own entrance, the suites also enjoy private patio areas, and two of them, the Montecucco and the Scuderia, have, respectively, a Finnish sauna with chromotherapy facilities, and a Turkish bath with multi-sensory shower, which renders this boutique hotel ideal for the maximum of comfort and wellbeing. Dimora Santa Margherita sits at the end of a dirt track and is surrounded by extensive grounds crisscrossed by stone pathways leading to a small square. A large garden wraps around the low one-storey houses with slanting roofs that make up this boutique hotel, which has the look of a miniature hamlet with its stone buildings seemingly growing out of each other. Elengated, sinuous and filled with salt water, a splendid infinity pool overlooks the surrounding valleys and out across the sea, where the Montecristo Island, another one of the gems of Tuscany.

Nestled among the Maremma valleys, between the Val d’Orcia and the Tyrrhenian Sea, it lies only 35 km away from the beautiful towns of Montalcino and Castiglione d’Orcia, while Mount Amiata can be reached in about an hour. The surrounding countryside, dotted with olive and cypress trees, can be explored on horseback or on a mountain bike, taking in the marvellous sights across the hills that roll down to some of the loveliest beaches of Tuscany and the sea beyond.
