About this property
Overlooking Matera’s Sasso Barisano, Fra I Sassi Residence is set in restored 17th-century buildings inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site area. It offers a sun terrace and air-conditioned rooms with stone walls and views of the historical centre. Some rooms at the Sassi Residence are cut directly into the rock. All have a private bathroom and stone or parquet floors. A buffet breakfast is provided, including cappuccino or herbal tea, together with fruit and freshly made pastries.
