Company information

Manon and Nina are the ladies working at the front and will do their very best to make their guests feel welcome. Manon, who accompanied the refurbishment of the entire palazzo with relentless energy to convey it a very personal note, likes design, aesthetics and good food. Manon gave all along careful thought to sustainability issues and will continue to do so while running the B&B. Nina is the "good spirit" of the house and always has an ear for the needs of the guests. With her natural smile on her face she gives the residents a feeling of security and safety. Manon also assumes the “artistic direction” in the background. She would love our guests to remember Palazzo Charlie as a refreshing place, as if they had been at a friend’s house, but with a little more privacy and extra amenities and services.

With a full refurbishment, the 19th century town house has been given a fresh lease of life offering our guests – holiday makers and business people alike - a skilful blend of understated elegance and pleasant comfort in Lecce’s historical centre and cultural heart. Palazzo Charlie is a lifestyle B&B with four very spacious suites, each of them with its proper layout and individual design. Common to all are the high ceilings, the marble flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows with a French balcony and a private design bathroom. The Palazzo is furnished with a mix of contemporary furniture and lovely vintage pieces here and there. Natural materials and subtle colours lend simple elegance and natural cosiness; while original art and design details leave a lasting impression.

Neighbourhood information

Palazzo Charlie is located in the pedestrian zone of the so-called "centro storico", the old, baroque part of the city. You will feel the pulse of Lecce and be invariably carried away by its ambiance. Lovely cafés are right at your door step and the "duomo" is a mere five minutes walk away. Lecce's atmosphere is informal, the setting always spectacular.
