Company information

I like hosting people from all over the world and sharing with them experiences and artistic visions. I like promoting cultural and naturalistic tours by bikes and horses in the Regional Park around Matera. My philosophy of hospitality is hosting people as temporary citizens not only as visitors, suggesting everyday festivals and events and inviting them to partecipate to the local cultural life.

Property information

The guesthouse 'Residenza del Maestro' is situated in a white historic building in the city center of Matera. Built during the '50s by an old artisan who lived there with his family, his paintings and his works, it has been renewed by a creative-classic style and it's quiet and comfortable provided with heating, air conditioning and private bathroom. The common entrance for all the apartments on the ground floor works also as luggage. On the first floor there are the guesthouse with the rooms and a little terrace for breakfast. At the second floor a beautiful terrace for parties, dinners and appetizers with friends, but also for artists to create art and have relax.

Neighbourhood information

The city center of Matera is naturally the best place to live in. Full of shops and activities during the day and cafè and restaurants during the night. The area of our guesthouse is silent and populated by locals.
