Pigra is located between the mountains and Lake Como. Here you will have the opportunity to practice many sports: cycling, hiking, water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, canoeing, fishing. From Como you can take a bus or a boat to Argegno, the boat ride is very pleasant. The cable car directly connects Argegno with Pigra in 10 minutes. Behind the Villa Marina, beautiful paths start immediately with characteristic refuges and lead to the top of the mountains with unforgettable views of Lake Como, Lake Lugano and the Alps. Along these itineraries you can stop and have lunch in the various refuges present, where you can taste and buy local milk, cheeses and other dairy products. It is possibile to take a boat from Argegno and get to different sites of interest, such as Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta e Villa Melzi. Pigra is a small village but rich in history, strategic with a dominant position on Lake Como, considered the most beautiful panoramic terrace of the Como Pre-Alps. Please be careful last 6 km of road, it’s a mountain road, sometimes narrow. If rented, don't take the big car
