It is a old traditional house built in Showa era. The clear stream Kano River and the Funahara River flow nearby. Especially the firefly season is one of the most popular spots in the Izu Peninsula. Day spa and supermarkets that deal in local product are within walking distance. When you have a request, we talk together and enjoy the real Japanese lifestyle. It would be grateful if Kotori Village could be the hometown of the guests.
The Owner is running a hostel in Shuzenji onsen area, called Hostel Knot. Our main purpose here to have guests all around the world is to have you know and experience Izu Peninsula, where we love and are proud of. Taking a breath apart from big city and getting you relaxed while stay would be the things we sincerely hope you to do. Feel free to ask us anything and we hope to help you out as much a possible.
One -day hot spring facilities and supermarkets that deal in local product are within walking distance. Izu is also famous as a geopark, and has many highlights such as waterfalls and mountains. Digital detox is also recommended in a natural space surrounded by mountains. To West: Matsuzaki / Dogashima with beautiful sunset over the sea To South: Kawazu with cherry blossoms and rape blossoms and Kurofune reached centuries ago To East: Ito where you can enjoy various culture and nature Both are within an hour by car from Kotori Village. It is a great location to enjoy plenty of Izu Peninsula. Be sure to see the photos in our profile. You can use our parking lot, which can give you 6 cars space. If you come by public transportation, please come to Shuzenji Station by train and transfer to the bus from there.
