Hello, We are a Japanese family moved to Koyasan in 2019. All room are Japanese room(tatami) with 2 shared shower rooms, 2 shared bath rooms and 2 shared wash rooms (1st floor). There is a common room you can eat and drink and meet travelers from around the world! We provide 2 futon sets (Japanese style mattress and blanket), table, chairs, luggage storage space and A/C (central heating) and wifi in the room The closest bus stop is 'Benten mae' bus stop (in front of Benten Park) and it takes 1 min on foot from there to this hostel. I will send more details after you book. Please let us know if you come here by car in advance. This hostel located near Daimon gate which is the entrance of Koyasan. Daimon gate (3min walk), Danjo garan(5min), convenience store(5min), 3 shops of souvenir, 7 restaurant/cafe (in 5min). You can go pilgrimage trail 'Nyonin michi' from Daimon gate.(we have more information.
We are Japanese family. I have traveled around the world and lived in Tibet, Australia and China.
There is pilgrimage routes(Nyonin michi) from Daimon gate. 30min to Nyonin-do. 100min to Okunoin.
