About this property
Set in the green mountains of Hakone, Kinokuniya Ryokan is a 15-minute drive from Ashino Lake and offers hot-spring baths, karaoke and massage services. This 300-year old historic Ryokan boasts its own sulfur hot spring source and Japanese-style rooms with an LCD TV and a private bath. Rooms at Ryokan Kinokuniya are air-conditioned and feature Japanese-style futon beds on a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor. A fridge, green tea and toiletries are provided. Many rooms have forest or mountain views. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Ashi-no-yu Bus Stop and a 10-minute drive from Kowakidani Train Station. Owakudani Volcanic Valley and Onshi Hakone Park are both about a 15-minute drive. On-site parking is free. Between soaks in the outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, guests can enjoy a game of table tennis or check out the hotel’s gift shop. The lobby has a free-use iPad and free Wi-Fi. A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the banquet room.
