Welcome to Okinawa & thank you for considering booking with Guesthome Machiya Koza. I am En, I started living in Okinawa since 2014. I love travelling. My dream of running a little accommodation place started from the time when I was a backpacker years ago. And needless to say, I am grateful that Okinawa has granted my wish. Machiya Koza was officially opened since early March 2019. It's great pleasure to provide feel-at-home, clean & comfy accommodation at reasonable prices to travellers from across the world. Property information

With tonnes of good luck and hard work and most of all, the patronage of both domestic and overseas travellers, we made it through the impacts of the 2020～2023 pandemic. Starting from 2024, we look forward to a much brighter year of operation. Thankfully, a lot of positive comments have been received incessantly since the start of this small business. Complete redesign & renovation were carried out between August 2018 and January 2019. The host aims at providing clean & comfortable guestrooms at reasonable prices. Total of only 3 rooms on each floor, all rooms equipped with fridge, air-con, low table / mini sofa setting, single bed or futon mattress. Communal facilities on each floor including 2 toilets, 1 shower room, 1 mini-kitchen and 1 laundry space. Making sure each single traveller enjoys comfort and privacy to the utmost. At the same time, Guesthome Machiya Koza also caters for group travellers, by booking all 3 rooms on the same floor, it turns into a private holiday getaway which hosts up to 5 adults. Easy and care-free. 7 rescued cats and 1 dog share living space at front desk with the host, come over for chit-chat and mingle with our furr--y members during your stay over!

Neighbourhood information

Machiya Koza is located close to downtown area of Okinawa city, which is the heart of central areas on mainland Okinawa. Neighbourhood areas including Chatan (American Village), Uruma city, Ginowan city, etc. and US Air Force Base Kaneda, Marine Camp Foster. Traffic is excellently handy, whether by car or buses. Route 330 and Route 329 are right at the front of the property. Access to highway exits is within 10 minutes drive. Tourism attractions and shopping facilities are abundant. Good local restaurants and bars, live houses are main attractions of KOZA area since 60's 70's. Come and explore Okinawa with us!
