About this property
Located north of Hirayu Hot Spring Ski Area and a 1-minute walk from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal, Tsuyukusa boasts an on-site natural hot spring. The ryokan offers free WiFi in all areas and on-site parking. From the ryokan, Shinhotaka Ropeway is a 30-minute drive while Kamikochi is a 25-minute drive away. JR Takayama Station is a 60-minute bus ride and Shirakawago can be reached with a 90-minute drive. All rooms at Tsuyukusa features tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional Japanese futon mats. Bathrooms and toilets are shared while free toiletries are provided for all guests. There are 3 private baths on site. At Tsuyukusa, ski storage is available. Guests staying in dormitory rooms can use the communal kitchen. Launderette is located in the annex building where dormitory rooms are located in. The ryokan serves Japanese-style meals made with local ingredients. Breakfast is available at 07:30.

Please note this property is located in Okuhida Hot Spring Villages. Guests will need to take a bus from JR Takayama Station.
Guests are advised to use snow tires or chains from November to April of every year.
Guests arriving after 18:00 must inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.
Guests who are staying in the annex will have to go to the main building to take a bath.
Please note that use of the shared kitchen is available only for guests staying in dormitory-style rooms.
