Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. Just 1 km from Sigiriya Rock, this property features free Wi-Fi, free parking and a natural setting in the middle of a forest. Rooms come with traditional interiors and wooden furnishings. A private bathroom comes with hot and cold shower facilities. Recreational choices include a cycling or hiking trip. Guests can go on a bird watching excursion or elephant watching safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. A fine selection of local and Western dishes are served at the restaurant. Pidurangala – Back of Beyond is a 30-minute drive to Dambulla Town. Katunayake International Airport is approximately 3.5 hours away by car. Please note that a deposit of 30% will be charged from the credit card (Visa or Mastercard) upon booking. The balance has to be settled at the lodge in cash (USD or Sri Lankan rupees) or credit card, or we shall collect the balance amount from the head office on or before your arrival date by credit card. Please note that by making a reservation, you would be entering a wildlife area and staying in an unfenced property. The stay/tours conducted might take or bring you into contact or vicinity of wild animals (including snakes, spiders, wild boar, monkey elephants etc.). Back of Beyond staff members, associates and/or agents cannot be held liable for any encounters involving the of wild animals. The stay and entry into the wildlife area and Back of Beyond is at your own risk and responsibility.
