We are the "Ging Oya Management ", We here to assist you regarding any question about Sri lanka or about our Lodge, feel free to contact us ! . looking forward to hear from you! Founded by a Belgium couple, Leo and Myryam 20 years back. Now managed by Surakshan Dias and his family, is a small family atmospheric lodge situated just 30 minutes away from the Airport.

Property information

Surrounded by luscious vegetation and resounding with birdsong, Ging Oya Lodge is unique in every way. Our property is situated among the west coastal region in Waikkala, bordering the Ging oya river full with mangroves and other greenery. Myrjam and Leo have created this wonderful place with minimal impact on the natural environment. Spacious, airy bungalows are reached by paths which wind between coconut palms & other native trees, affording privacy and quietness. It is so calm and peaceful to sit on the verandah overlooking the river and watch the tropical birds, a perfect retreat."

Neighbourhood information

Waikkal or Waikkala is a small village 9km away from Negombo city centre. In our location there are only few tourists at the beach it is not very crowded like the Negombo beach. This village used to be a fishing village many years ago but now most of the people are engaged in tourism. People are very friendly and they are very helpful.
