The property is labour of love for an Australian/ Moroccan husband and wife team merging styles with careful consideration to the traditional craftsmanship of the local artisans and the awareness of the need for spaces and places for people to unwind and reconnect, Riad Botanica was born.​ This original aristocratic residence now boasts six deluxe guest rooms with ensuites, each unique in a design inspired by the ancient healing properties of plants and the beauty of their flowers. Boasting traditional Moroccan features, fixtures, and furnishings, which all come together with iconic Australian art deco design flair from Florence Broadhurst. Riad Botanica harnesses the power of nature celebrated symbolically by the central orange tree. Every plant at Riad Botanica is purposeful as we look to the natural world around us in order to heal. Each plant can be used for medicinal purposes through food, tea or inhalation. Nature grounds us and encourages us to breathe deeply and to go within to invigorate the soul. Neighbourhood information

Our street is also home to other well known Riad in on the hot list from Jasper's L'Hotel to Be Marrakech. Our street is authentic balance between locals and hotels. It is very safe, friendly neighbourhood with easy-to-access everything. A quick stroll to Bacha Coffee and 10-15 mins from Marrakech Airport and walking distance to YSL Gardens and new city. Boasting pride of place in the coveted suburb of Bab Doukkala in the heart of the Medina. When you first enter the Median is very immersive, no cars, a huge mix of life, crazy and so much charm, it's like you are going back in time (200 years) it's busy and can prove to be magical - if you can get lost and enjoy the adventure hahaha
