Hassan who owns the Riad and has conducted the full renovation of the riad with respect for local materials and handicraft in 2016.

Property information

Riad of The Storks is named after the storks nesting on the walls of Palais Badie only 50 meters from the roof terrace. The rooftop area includes a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a fireplace and barbeque, a large lounge area with sofas and tables where our guests spend most of their time when they are not enjoying the outdoor bath on a separate terrace. We only have 5 rooms with a total capacity of up to 17 persons, so its perfect to book for exclusive use for friends or extended families. The air-conditioned guest rooms include an ensuite bathroom, desks for working on a pc with wi-fi access, large sofas that can also be used for additional guests and attractive views over the the internal courtyard. We serve a very nice breakfast on the rooftop terrace in the morning, including orange juice, local bread & pastries and special local treats, such as locally produced honey and of course coffee and tee.

Neighbourhood information

The Riad is a peaceful sanctuary, with no sounds form the hectic activities in the streets of Marrakech. It is located in the peaceful and safe Touareg area south of the central square Jemaa el Fna and close to the newly renovated Place des Ferblantiers with excellent restaurants, a lively street life, and a taxi station for easy access. Practically all major attractions of Marrakech are within 10. min walking distance from the Riad, making the Riad a perfect base for discovering the contradictory wonders of Marrakech. We probably have one of the cities best view of the storks on the walls of Palais Badié, which is also one of the attractions of Marrakech.
