Located next to the Ben Youssef Mosque, Riad Spice offers ten rooms, a dipping pool, roof terrace and elegant, well-proportioned spaces to relax in keeping with the affluence of the previous inhabitants; 17 generations of the same family – traders, farmers and community leaders – resided here until 2008. As with our other Marrakech Riad hotels, this sixteenth century property retains its original features and embraces its heritage, whilst enjoying contemporary touches and a welcoming, homely feel. Room rates include a delicious breakfast served at the time of your choosing. Guests will also be able to enjoy the facilities at nearby sister properties Riad Cinnamon and Riad Star which offers a hammam and spa as well as a cookery school.

The Marrakech Medina is a walled City founded one thousand years ago. Riad Spice is located absolutely at its beating heart, within a minutes walk you will find the Ben Yussef Mosque and its famous Koranic School, the Almoravid Koubba (the oldest building in Marrakech) and the most fashionable shopping street in the old town anchored by the stunning Max and Jan concept store. The main square is a pleasant walk away which will take between five and fifteen minutes depending how good you are at resisting the temptation to visit the boutiques along the route.
