The original Riad Timila was bought in 2008, and added the next door property a year later. Many happy months were spent renovating the two ancient, tumbledown buildings to create the beautiful space you see today. Six individual ensuite bedrooms give us the space to entertain our friends and families and when we're not there we like other people to enjoy it! We decided to rent the riad either as a whole or as individual rooms.

Riad Timila is a true oasis of calm in the very heart of the mad bustle of the old walled city of Marrakech. A stone's throw from the main square and the souks, it sleeps 12 in extreme comfort, looked after by our wonderful staff, Henia, Mouad, Hasnae and Michel. We have our own pool, hammam and massage room, and our food is fantastic! The riad is right in the centre of the walled city or medina, hidden away down a tiny derb or alley. There is no vehicle access as the streets are too narrow, but it's a fascinating walk, and everything is very close. Michel and or Mouad are on hand to guide you, or you can just wander - every corner provides a photo opportunity! Marrakech is a world heritage site and there is so much to do and see - romantic, mysterious, exotic, exciting - you can never get bored...
